Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is a European Union programme that supports education, training, youth, and international cooperation. Through Erasmus+, organisations can develop projects that promote learning, inclusion, and personal development across borders.

Action Kids takes part in Erasmus+ projects to strengthen our mission of encouraging physical activity, creativity, and inclusion among young children.

We do this by participating in international projects that promote movement, creativity, and learning through play. These projects help us develop engaging activities that combine storytelling, music, exercise, and visual elements, all designed to motivate children to be active while having fun together. Through the Erasmus+ programme, we can exchange ideas and best practices with organisations in other countries, develop new methods for inclusive physical activity and strengthen educational concepts through European collaboration.

In short: by working with partners across Europe, Action Kids contributes to a shared goal of creating positive, inclusive experiences where every child can take part and succeed.
Thomas Fedder in Andalusia, Spain - 2026

In early 2026 Thomas Fedder visited Spain as part of the Erasmus+ programme along with Erasmus+ project partners Harald from Germany, Froso from Greece and Eva from Spain. The trip involved translations of the lyrics and instructions into a national language suitable for children, audio recordings of the spoken instructions and songs, adaptation and discussions of the stories to national circumstances and recording of the spoken story, testing in kindergartens, distribution and the search for sponsors.

Participation in Erasmus+ projects has therefore allowed Action Kids to enhance its work in kindergartens and educational settings by introducing new perspectives and approaches!

For children, this means playful and inclusive physical activities, a stronger sense of community and environments where participation matters more than performance.

For educators and institutions, this means Action Kids support professional development, access to international experience and new tools for motivating children to be physically active in everyday life.
